A series of conferences with Russian trade representatives in foreign countries for the development of external relations of the Republic of Tatarstan continues. Last week, meetings were held with the country's trade representatives in Egypt (Alexey Robertovich Tevanyan) and Slovakia (Stupar Sergey Kuzmich).
Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered a welcoming speech at the first event.
Taliya Minullina: "On August 24, 2023, following the 15th BRICS Summit, the Arab Republic of Egypt was announced to join the organization. Egypt is a member of the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the African Union. Vladimir Putin met with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Sisi on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan last year. We have a long history of cooperation. The President of Tatarstan visited Egypt for the first time on a business visit in 2018. Delegations from the Arab Republic have been participating in the annual Russia–Islamic World: KazanForum International Economic Forum for many years, and Egypt is also a member of the Russia–Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.

Then Marina Epifantseva, Deputy Head of the AIR of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a meeting with the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Slovakia, during which Sergey Stupar noted investments coming to Russia, in particular Tatarstan from Slovakia. So, in March 2023, the Slovak company Branko opened an incubator for poultry farming in the Sabinsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
