Korobchenko, speaking on behalf of the Government of Tatarstan at the Russian-Afghan Business Forum aimed at identifying key points in the business processes of the two countries.  The main purpose of the discussion is to create a platform for the exchange of ideas and identify new opportunities for cooperation.

Abdulgani Baradar, Acting Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Afghanistan, expressed a desire for close cooperation with Russia, increasing exports and imports. On the part of Avganistan, it guarantees the safety and legality of business. It will also provide full support to the investment of major projects aimed at the development of the country.

He also stressed the importance of exporting energy resources and food, and noted opportunities for the supply of Russian industrial products. Fruit and vegetable products, textiles, and mineral resources have a significant potential for import from Afghanistan.

During the discussion, special attention was paid to the development of transport infrastructure in Afghanistan and the implementation of the country's transit potential due to its favorable geographical location. 
Work on the Trans – Afghan Railway project, which may become part of the North-South international transport corridor, was noted.
