Visit Tatarstan - visit KAMAZ

The long-awaited KAMAZ visitor center, an Agency project with a special cultural status, was opened in Naberezhnye Chelny. It should be recalled that large, socially significant facilities are being considered for placement in the Republic by the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. TIDA organized the provision of a land plot without bidding for the construction of a visitor center back in 2018. It was organized as part of the ambitious ProKAMAZ project, designed to take the promotion of industrial tourism and raise the prestige of workers and engineering professions to a new level.

The area of the visitor center, located on Avtozavodsky Prospekt, is 1.5 thousand square meters. m. On the ground floor, guests are greeted by trucks that have gone down in the history of the company. Among them are the first KAMAZ-5320, which rolled off the assembly line on February 16, 1976, and the millionth KAMAZ truck. There is also a KAMAZ sports truck simulator cabin, in which every visitor can feel like a crew member of the famous KAMAZ-Master team.
Also on the ground floor there is a spacious hall with a large screen that can accommodate 50 people.

An even richer exposition awaits visitors on the second floor. All exhibits are accompanied by interactive content and videos. Among the most interesting are a mock–up of a car engine in the form of an explosion diagram, the office of a modern automotive design engineer, and a huge mock-up of a complex of factories in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that the new visit center will promote the KAMAZ brand and enhance the prestige of working professions. The opening of the visitor center is timed to coincide with an important event.

The annual General meeting of shareholders of KAMAZ PJSC was held in Naberezhnye Chelny today. The meeting was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Chemezov, General Director of Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, and Marina Epifantseva, Deputy Head of the Investment Development Agency.
