Taliya Minullina, using the example of the success story of Nizhnekamsk thermal baths, called on the districts to take an active position in the race for investors!

2 November 2024, Saturday

Within the framework of the Nizhnekamsk — the Capital of Petrochemistry conference, the fourth meeting of the Business Angel Club was held, where key areas for investment in the region and business opportunities were discussed. One of the experts who spoke at the event was the head of the TIDA Taliya Minullina.

The head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district, the mayor of Nizhnekamsk, invited entrepreneurs to explore Nizhnekamsk.

In a city with a large industrial area and an ever-growing population, there is a lack of a developed service sector: hotel business, catering, leisure centers, etc. Investments in this area in the coming years will allow small and medium-sized businesses to make good money, the mayor of Nizhnekamsk told the investment council.

"In the next 3-5 years, a trillion rubles will be invested in large—scale production, and by investing such funds, everyone has the opportunity to develop," Ramil Mullin said.

There are conditions for business development, but not everyone knows about them. The most significant support measure is provided within the framework of the Territory of Advanced economic Development project. These include reduced taxes for decades, preferential tariffs for land rent and utilities.

Another vivid example of a successful investment project is the Nizhnekamsk thermal baths. The number of visits to this facility per day reaches 3,000 people. The tourist flow to the city has increased, business owners are counting profits. Using the example of thermal baths, Taliya Minullina explained at the forum how important it is for the city administration to respond to investor requests on time.: "It is very important that the local and regional authorities respond very quickly to our requests. Sometimes it feels like some areas just don't need investors. We send requests, and there aren't even any responses from there, or they arrive after 30 days. Today, the investor will not wait 30 days."

Nizhnekamsk Mayor Ramil Mullin said that there are not enough places in the city's hotels today. The mayor voiced the problem at the investment forum, where they discussed the possibilities and prospects of the city.

– We met with students within the framework of the Leaders of Tatarstan program. They were at the Luxor-hotel. We don't have places in hotels today," said the mayor of Nizhnekamsk. – It is important that the city becomes interesting, therefore coffee zones and creative spaces are needed. It should all come from business opportunities. Nizhnekamsk is a rich city, and it is very important for us that people invest money in their city. And for this we need to create conditions.

Taliya Minullina, in turn, noted that a similar trend is developing not only in Nizhnekamsk, but also in other regions of the republic.

– The population of Nizhnekamsk has a good purchasing power and in this sense hotels are needed. If you look near Nizhnekamsk and touch on other municipal areas, then there are exactly the same questions about the service. We need restaurants and hotels. There is a lack of basic infrastructure. And these are the niches where you can really earn money here," she said.
