Important decisions for the development of tourism in Tatarstan!
Investors in Tatarstan are actively developing projects in the field of tourism. The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan accompanies these initiatives at all stages. The projects are reviewed by the Investment Council of Tatarstan, which ensures their high-quality study and support at the regional level. The republic is actively expanding measures to support investors and tourism projects, creating favorable conditions for the industry. On July 25, 2025, a meeting of the working group No. 14 was held in Kazan under the leadership of Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, member of the Committee on Tourism and Development of Tourist Infrastructure Artem Prokofiev. The meeting discussed key issues of the Republic of Tatarstan's participation in the implementation of state programs of the Russian Federation, federal targeted programs and other significant projects.
To support the tourism industry, the Republic of Tatarstan will receive a single subsidy in the amount of 276.1 million rubles (from the federal budget – 218.1 million rubles, from the republican budget – 58.0 million rubles). The following areas of government support can be implemented under this subsidy::
1️⃣ Kazan Marina Project
The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan is supporting an investment project to create a new tourist territory in the Laishevsky district.
The following design and survey work has been started:
− development of a project for the planning and surveying of the Vostochnoye Laishevo territory, including the Kazan Marina Shopping Center,
− development of documentation on the layout of the road passing through the forest area,
− preparation of documentation on the transfer of forest park areas to industrial and transport lands for road construction,
− geological exploration of the subsurface in order to search and assess groundwater reserves.
2️⃣ National project "Tourism and Hospitality"
Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented a report on the implementation of measures in 2025. The project plans to allocate subsidies for infrastructure development, create an accessible environment for people with disabilities, support event tourism, and much more.
3️⃣ Results of the meeting with the leadership of Tatarstan
Deputy Artyom Prokofiev summed up the meeting with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin and other government representatives.
