Economic geographer Natalia Zubarevich: "Tatarstan is not affected by the approaching recession. Tatarstan is the smartest, I'm seriously talking about it."
Natalia Zubarevich, Professor of the Department of Economic and Social Geography at Moscow State University, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, specialist in regional economics, in an interview with a foreign publication, cited data from an analysis of a report prepared by Rosstat on the socio-economic situation of the Russian Federation.
Against the background of a slowdown in industrial growth in a number of regions of the country, Tatarstan showed an increase in many indicators, the economic geographer noted.
"Tatarstan looks very good. They are generally very combative. No matter what indicator I look at, they tend to be at the forefront. Tatarstan is not worried about the approaching recession. For me, this is a separate amazing phenomenon," Natalia Zubarevich noted.
