For the first time, Kazan will host the business forum "TIME: Russia - India. Mutual efficiency"
In early September 2025, the leaders of Russia and India held successful talks in China. These meetings were a continuation of the Russian-Indian dialogue, during which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an official visit to Russia in July 2024. In October 2024, the Indian delegation took part in the BRICS summit in Kazan.
Following the talks, the leaders of the two countries set an ambitious goal: to increase trade turnover between Russia and India to $100 billion by 2030. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to form new regional platforms where business and government can establish direct links and launch joint projects.
Tatarstan, located at the intersection of East and West, will be the first Russian region to create such a platform. On October 8-9, Kazan will host the first business forum "TIME: Russia - India. Mutual effectiveness". The forum program will bring together more than 12 thematic sections on key areas of cooperation at the Bashir Rameev IT Park.:
- investments and finances,
- the labor market,
- Education and science,
- IT and digital technologies,
- medicine and pharmacy,
- petrochemical complex,
- agriculture,
- media session with Indian media,
- cooperation in the field of the film industry.
The organizers paid special attention to the cultural and sports program. Within its framework, the following events will take place:
- Indian Film Festival at the Mir Cinema,
- lecture dedicated to the 155th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi,
- Youth round table "The Future of Russian-Indian relations" at KFU,
- Days of Indian culture at the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan with tastings of traditional Indian cuisine,
master classes and concerts of Indian music and dance, educational lectures,
- an exhibition of digital art by an Indian media artist,
- international student cricket match,
- an esports tournament on Counter-Strike and FIFA.
