In October 2024, the Alabuga SEZ completed the first stage of construction of a world-class logistics complex named after Deng Xiaoping commissioned the One Belt and One Road container terminal located in the Tukayevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, the main task of the terminal is to increase the capacity of the Krugopol logistics hub, effectively manage import and export cargo flows, including by reducing the empty
mileage of containers. Currently, 746 containers with products manufactured in the Republic of Tatarstan have been exported, while only 290 imported containers from China have been accepted (an imbalance).
