Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev said at the plenary session of Kazan Digital Week that this year the industry should double in terms of GDP from 2019. The head of the Agency, Taliya Minullina, took part in the forum.

Companies from Tatarstan, regions of Russia and other countries presented their achievements in the digitalization of production at the exhibition - about 300 companies. Visitors can also test the first Russian Atom electric car, which will soon enter mass production.

The main theme of KDW 2025 was artificial intelligence.
"Artificial intelligence technologies are successfully used by our industrial enterprises. Thus, Tatneft is successfully implementing the Intelligent Field project, which covers more than 30 thousand oil wells. This reduces equipment downtime and increases the efficiency of oil production. KAMAZ uses machine vision and artificial intelligence technologies to create autonomous trucks. By 2030, we plan that half of the enterprises in key industries will switch to using artificial intelligence and smart devices," said Rustam Minnikhanov.

"Large-scale digital infrastructure is available for IT investments in Tatarstan, the center of attraction of which is Innopolis. Its residents have developed more than 50 import-substituting solutions for industry, transport, energy, medicine and other industries," Taliya Minullina.

In addition, there are 24 municipal IT parks in the republic. By 2030, it is planned to increase their number to 40, which will create growth points for the digital economy in all regions of Tatarstan.
