Taliya Minullina, Secretary of the KazanForum Regional Organizing Committee, took part in the preparation meeting for the XVII Forum in Moscow today
Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, is on a working visit to Moscow today.
In the morning, Taliya Minullina took part in a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum" as secretary of the regional organizing committee of the forum and compiler of the business program. The meeting was held by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the organizing Committee of the forum Marat Khusnullin. Responsible departments, ministries, and a number of Russian regions were connected to the venue via videoconference. At the meeting, Tatarstan was represented and reported on the results of the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum" in 2025, as well as on the preparation of the Republic of Tatarstan for the forum in 2026 by the President of the Republic, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the forum Rustam Minnikhanov.

"We see the growing interest of our domestic and foreign colleagues in the Kazan site, which is designed to serve as a meeting place, dialogue and cooperation between our country and the Islamic world. This year, representatives of 96 countries, 82 regions of Russia, and international institutions, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the League of Arab States, and the World Islamic League, took part in KazanForum.
More than two hundred events took place within the framework of the forum; 148 sessions with the participation of about a thousand speakers, over 130 agreements were signed, including 75 international and 56 from the Republic of Tatarstan.
The events were covered by more than 500 media outlets from 20 countries. For the eighth time, the International Exhibition "Russia Halal Expo" was held within the framework of the Forum.
We remind you that the upcoming KazanForum in 2026 will be held as part of a landmark event – Kazan receiving the status of the cultural capital of the Islamic world. The decision was made by the ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the 13th OIC Conference of Ministers of Culture in Saudi Arabia.
