The opening ceremony of the Indian Film Festival within the framework of the Time Forum was attended by Indian Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva, as well as a delegation of Indian filmmakers, including directors Nila Madhab Panda, Sajin Babu, actor Anupam Kher, lead actress in the film "Snow Flower" Chhaya Kadam and Director General of the National Corporation for the Development of Cinematography Achal Malhotra.
For three days, modern Bollywood films are being shown at the Mir cinema in Kazan. Among them are "Milan Conversations", a love story between an aspiring director Anna and a young girl Maithali from a strict clergyman's family, paintings called "Portraits", "Sani Sanskari and Tulsi Kumari" and "The Myth of Reality Theater".
On the last day of the festival, viewers will be able to watch the Russian premiere of the comedy "Jolly 3".
