"Now we're going to reveal our face." Prospects for cooperation: a delegation from Laos gets acquainted with the economic potential of Tatarstan.
Taliya Minullina, Head of the Agency, held a presentation of the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan at the Unified Presentation Center of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, as well as an introductory meeting with the delegation of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (representatives of business and government) today. On the Agency's part, the meeting was also attended by Marina Epifantseva, Deputy Head of the Agency, and Elvira Shaykhutdinova, Head of the Investment Project Expertise Department. The Lao delegation was led by member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Minister, Chairman of the Academy of Politics and National Administration of Laos Phouvong Unkhamsen.
Phuwong Unkhamsen: "Kazan today is a big difference compared to the times when I studied here (1983-1988)! Despite the difficulties, all areas of your economy are developing rapidly. It's been thirty-seven years since I've been in your beautiful city. From the first day of my stay here as part of a business visit, I feel and see how everything has changed. What you told us during the presentation inspires our entire delegation. I have always been following the events taking place in your republic and have seen the success associated with the ongoing international events here. I decided to come to you, Taliya Ilgizovna, in order to open the way for successful cooperation between Tatarstan and Laos together. I am sure that starting from this day we will find a direction for our economic cooperation. I am convinced that thanks to you and your smart colleagues, our Lao side will travel with Tatarstan to our common success. We will solve the tasks facing us together."
