The Rais of Tatarstan spoke about the largest investment projects in the republic
Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, addressed the annual address to the State Council of the Republic. The event was attended by a member of the Government of Tatarstan, head of the Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.
Rustam Minnikhanov:
"SIBUR consistently implements investment projects in the republic. The EP-600 olefin complex at Nizhnekamskneftekhim, the production of hexene-1 with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year, and a combined-cycle gas plant with a capacity of 250 MW at Kazanorgsintez were launched. In addition, the ethylene pipeline between Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Kazanorgsintez is being upgraded and the production of catalysts for base polymers is being built, which will ensure technological independence. It is planned to open a SIBUR research center in Kazan next year in key areas of advanced chemistry.
The TAIF-NK company in Nizhnekamsk is building a research center for the development of domestic technologies for deep oil refining.
Last year, the Ammonium Company commissioned a number of new production facilities, reached a record high in the company's history – 2 million tons of products, and continues to implement the large-scale Ammonium-2 investment project.
KAMAZ consistently continues to implement innovative projects in the machine-building complex, including electric buses, self-driving cars and hydrogen-related projects.
The Sollers company has launched the production of five new models of automotive equipment of various classes, providing for this the necessary level of localization of the production of automotive components, including diesel engines.
Modernization continues at the Kazan Aviation Plant, and the main industrial facilities will be commissioned this year, which will ensure the serial production of Tu-214 aircraft.
Kazan Helicopter Plant has completed a deep modernization of its main production facilities, ensured the transition of the Ansat helicopter to a Russian engine, and is preparing to launch a new product, the Mi–34 helicopter. I would like to note that this year the company was awarded the Order of the Russian Federation "For Valiant Labor".
The Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky successfully performs tasks in the field of civil and military shipbuilding and has also been awarded the Order of the Russian Federation "For Valiant Labor".
POSiS continues to expand its line of refrigeration equipment production. So, this year, the production of medical low-temperature freezers has been mastered, and a new model of refrigerators for storing vaccines has been launched.
This year, Kazancompressormash will introduce a unique world-class complex for testing compressor equipment, gas turbine and electric engines for the LNG industry at the Zelenodolsk site.
The TEMPO company is implementing a project to create a production and logistics hub in Nizhnekamsk. A new workshop for the production of components for trucks has also been launched.
Rostec State Corporation is represented in the republic by 20 enterprises.
The basis of industrial development is the energy complex. Over the past 10 years, new capacities of 1.7 gigawatts have been introduced in the republic. TGC-16 is also continuing to modernize steam turbines at Nizhnekamsk CHPP-1, TANECO is completing the reconstruction of installed energy boilers for burning petroleum coke, and Tatenergo has done a lot of work to replace Nizhnekamsk's thermal distribution networks."
