A sense of unity as a foundation for economic cooperation

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, Russia celebrates a holiday that resonates in the heart of every citizen of the country — National Unity Day! And a week before it began, Tatarstan was given the opportunity to congratulate its partners — the friendly Turkic Republics of Turkey and Kazakhstan — not only on this important day for Russia, but also on the main national holidays of the aforementioned countries — republic Days — during the celebrations dedicated to such important dates! These events were attended by the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina.

1. October 29 — Republic Day of Turkey

On the eve of the celebration of the 102nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey, the country's Consul General in Kazan, Ugur Yilmaz, held a reception on this occasion.

Taliya Minullina: "Turkey is the only NATO member country that has maintained friendly relations with Russia and, in particular, with Tatarstan. It still holds a leading position in terms of investment and trade with Russia, continuing to occupy the niches vacated after the departure of Western players, as well as those that have not yet been occupied by Russian entrepreneurs. On the eve of the celebration, I held talks with a delegation of major Turkish entrepreneurs, members of the Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry."

2. October 25 is the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A reception was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the adoption in 1990 of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR. The event was organized by the Consulate General of Kazakhstan. As part of the 35th anniversary, a delegation of 140 people from the North Kazakhstan region of the country, headed by its akim Gauez Nurmukhambetov, arrived in the capital of Tatarstan. In this regard, on October 30, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Taliya Minullina: "It was a great pleasure and honor for the Agency to be the first to welcome our partners, colleagues and, of course, friends — the delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan the day before. The Tatarstan team, part of which was present at the meeting, got acquainted with the economic potential of the North Kazakhstan region with great interest. We watched the presentation video and heard a report from the deputy akim of the region, who oversees investment development issues, on the achievements of the territory in this area. During the meeting, we met with relevant colleagues, for example, the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development, who also oversees the issue of attracting investments to the region. Six memorandums were immediately signed at the end of the meeting, five of them between large companies from Tatarstan and Kazakhstan. We will work actively!"
