V meeting of the Council for Interregional Cooperation in the Volga-Yangtze format.

Talia Minullina: "The Volga-Yangtze cooperation format is a mechanism of interaction between the regions of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation and the provinces of the Yangtze River Basin of the People's Republic of China. This format was established in 2013 in order to strengthen economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the regions of the two countries."

Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan: "Over its more than 10-year history, the format has proven to be one of the most effective mechanisms for interregional cooperation between Russia and China."

The main areas of cooperation:

III International Forum "SPROUTS: Russia and China have mutually beneficial cooperation."

The forum hosted 77 business sessions in 17 areas and about 100 events of various levels.

More than 10,000 people have registered to participate in the discussions at the forum, including representatives of government, business, science and culture from 40 countries, 68 subjects of the Russian Federation and delegations from 28 administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China.

In 2025, 10 official delegations from 7 provinces of the People's Republic of China (Hubei, Shandong, Jilin, Chongqing, Hunan, Sichuan, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region) became guests of honor from China.

About 200 large companies representing a wide range of industries, from energy and heavy industry to shipping, logistics and construction, are represented at the Chinese Business Forum.

China Twin Cities Fair (Changchun)- Russia – 2025".

Anna and Anastasia Koval, employees of the Investment Project Support and Support Department of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Yana Akhmetshina, Director of Marketing and PR at the Directorate of International Programs, presented Tatarstan at the China (Changchun) Twin Cities Fair-Russia" - 2025.

The participants of the fair were representatives of government agencies from the Changchun City Hall, companies and organizations from Changchun and Jilin Province, as well as representatives of organizations from the regions of Russia.

For the first time, Tatarstan hosted the Russian-Chinese investment economic forum at the municipal level! The Agryzsky district of the republic has set the trend for such events. It was attended by about ten representatives of Chinese enterprises from Heilongjiang Province, interested in entering the Russian market, including Tatarstan sites.

The main goal of the forum is to deepen trade and industrial cooperation and strengthen partnership ties between Russia and China.

On behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the participants of the forum were greeted by the Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, moderator of the plenary session Taliya Minullina.

The Rais of Tatarstan recalled that the SPROUTS platform has become an important tool for bilateral cooperation.: Russia and China – mutually beneficial cooperation", which promotes interregional contacts and the promotion of joint initiatives.
