The Agency's work on GulFood
We are actively conducting negotiations at the stand to attract companies interested in cooperation with Tatarstan to invest in Tatarstan. Businesses from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, India and many other countries are informed about the opportunities to enter the Russian market through Tatarstan. Marina Epifantseva, Deputy Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, participates in meetings with entrepreneurs jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, including those held by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. We actively offer potential investors a catalog of investment projects, which also includes investment proposals in the field of food processing.
The Agency organized the construction of the stand of the Republic of Tatarstan at GulFood, which housed 22 exporters of the republic, and information materials about the investment potential, as well as major international events such as the KazanForum and AgroVolga forums.
Marina Epifantseva also spoke on behalf of Tatarstan at the GulFood World Economic Summit session on "Flexibility in Design: the relationship between food security and infrastructure for an interconnected world" together with representatives from Ontario, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Tanzania. Tatarstan's example was used in response to questions about the organization of food processing, its digitalization, investments in infrastructure and support measures.
