The State Council is improving legislation on concessions

Today, at a meeting of the State Council, the draft law on amendments to the republican law on corporate property tax was approved in the first reading and as a whole. 

The law provides tax incentives for organizations implementing investment projects for the construction and operation of regional and local highways and private highways, as well as related infrastructure facilities, without which the full functioning of the modern transport system is impossible. 

Such projects are implemented on the basis of concession agreements or with the participation of borrowed funds under state guarantees.
The draft law is designed to support investment projects and has great potential for the use of PPP mechanisms.

We remind you that the Agency recently hosted an off - site meeting of the State Council (https://t.me/tidanews/8788 ) on initiatives to introduce legislation on these issues. 

"Our republic has always been known for its active position on the introduction of advanced solutions in the economy, infrastructure and human capital development," Leonid Yakunin emphasized. - The proposed changes are a step towards increasing Tatarstan's investment attractiveness, developing modern roads, reducing business costs and creating better conditions for the education and development of an IT cluster. All this, in the end, will contribute to the economic growth and well-being of the residents of the republic."
