The volume of investments in PPP projects in three directions in Tatarstan exceeded 231 billion rubles
Tatarstan is actively developing infrastructure projects through the mechanism of public-private partnership. As of January 1, 2026, 229 PPP projects with a total investment of 231 billion rubles are being implemented in the republic.
Investment structure:
• Transport infrastructure — 211 billion rubles (2 projects, the share of private investment — 15%)
• Social sphere — 12 billion rubles (23 projects, the share of private investment — 44%)
• Housing and communal services and communal infrastructure — 8 billion rubles (204 projects, the share of private investment — 74%)
The average share of private investment across all sectors is almost 19%.
Examples of projects implemented through PPP in Tatarstan include the Voznesensky Tract in Kazan, the Alekseevskoye–Almetyevsk highway (part of the Shali–Bavly road), secondary schools with 1501 seats each in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, football arenas in Avtograd and Almetyevsk.
Public-private partnership remains a reliable tool for infrastructure development and stimulating private investment in Tatarstan.
