We are paving the way for Tatarstan's youth to enter the international arena

23 April 2026, Thursday

Eleonora Yusupova, Youth Adviser on Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, who is currently a member of the Public Council of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, made proposals at an event of the Russian Association for the Assistance of the United Nations as part of a session on "Dialogue between Generations: Youth views on building a society for all ages in Asia and the Pacific."

Using the example of a successful investment project, which is accompanied by the Agency and went through a detailed discussion at the Public Council and the Board of the Department - the Center for Restorative Medicine in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, she spoke about the practice of an inclusive approach "for all ages."

"This is a great example of the simultaneous implementation of intergenerational medicine, the role of public control and monitoring, as well as a youth perspective on impact investments," said the Agency's youth adviser at the session.
The center specializes in rehabilitation after complex injuries for both children and the elderly. This is a direct response to the challenge of quality longevity, which is relevant for all countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

Eleonora Yusupova: "As a member of the Public Council, I personally participated in the discussion of the interim results of the project. In practice, we see how government support and private investment create a socially significant product. The first stage of the Center was recently put into operation, and this is the result of the coordinated work of business, government and public institutions."
Based on Tatarstan's investment experience, the Agency and the Youth Adviser proposed the following theses for the Asia-Pacific agenda:

First, to integrate representatives of youth councils into the process of monitoring socially significant investment projects. This ensures transparency and continuity of development goals.

Secondly, To scale the model of multidisciplinary rehabilitation centers that combine medical care for different age groups, creating an environment of mutual support.

Third: To develop PPP mechanisms in the social sphere, focusing on the long-term well-being of society, rather than on short-term profits.

Eleonora Yusupova: "It is extremely important for the countries of the Asia-Pacific region to find a balance between the energy of the young and the wisdom of the elders. Tatarstan's experience proves that when young people are integrated into councils under relevant ministries and agencies, the dialogue of generations ceases to be a theory and becomes part of state planning. We propose to use Tatarstan's platform as a center for the exchange of best practices between youth governments and investment agencies of the Asia-Pacific countries. The future is not built in generational isolation — it is created where investments in technology are backed by respect for experience."
