KazanSummit 2014 will be held next week

Next Thursday, June 5, in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held VI  International Economic Summit of Russia and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries.

The event will open a business breakfast «Portrait of Russian regions. Integration of regional economy of the Russian Federation into the world system» with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian regional leaders, foreign ambassadors, investors and businessmen.

A key theme of the Strategic Forum, which begins after a business breakfast, will be the discussion of food security, especially in terms of interaction between investors, business and government on logistics, land resources, human capital, infrastructure and promotion.

At noon on the site of the summit will start Tatarstan-Emirati Business Forum, which will be a platform to discuss the prospects and practical steps to strengthen the business, trade, socio-cultural relations between Tatarstan and the United Arab Emirates, which became the Country of Honour at KazanSummit 2014. To participate in the summit and in particular, the business forum will arrive delegation led by the UAE Minister of economy.

In the second day of the summit will be the Tatarstan Investors Club, bilateral and direct meetings, B2B meetings, as well as the meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with chief editors. The first day ends with gala dinner hosted by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

June 6, on the second day of KazanSummit 2014, will be held Kazan Urban Forum. In parallel with the urban forum will be held traditional conference on Islamic economics and finance, a consultative meeting of parliamentarians of Russia and OIC counties and the international trade forum.

Together with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) at the KazanSummit 2014 site will be a special session on best practices of investment agencies. In addition, will be held a round table on the creation of brand territories as effective ways to promote the competitiveness of the region, its promotion and recognition.

VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries will be ended by national holiday Sabantuy, which will be held on June 7 at the territory of Laishevsky region.
