Sergey Batin: «Tatarstan-Emirati Business Forum on KazanSummit 2014 aims to become a platform to discuss the prospects and practical steps to strengthen relations»

Member of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Batin will participate in the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2014).

«At the upcoming summit will discuss issues such as the strengthening of trade and economic relations with the OIC countries, the establishment of a favorable business climate to attract investments, - says Sergey Batin. - It will be attended by business representatives and experts from the Islamic countries. There will discuss topics such as the role of the Islamic Development Bank in the global financial system, the role of Islamic capital in the integration processes between the OIC countries, CIS and Russia».

According to the senator, at last year's summit in Kazan, some representatives of Islamic business have already expressed interest in a number of Tatarstan’s projects.

«In 2014 one of the topics of the forum will be the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and the UAE, - underscores Senator of the Federation Council. - Tatarstan-Emirati Business Forum aims to become a platform to discuss the prospects and practical steps to strengthen the business, trade, socio-cultural relations. Kazan Summit – is an international marketplace, which can be used not only by Tatarstan, but also by other Russian regions, such as Bashkiria, Dagestan, Chechnya».
