A meeting with a delegation of West Sumatra (Indonesia)

With the delegation of the Indonesian province of West Sumatra, headed by Governor Irvan Praitno President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met on November 26. The meeting, held in the Kazan Kremlin, was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

Among the perspective areas of cooperation Mr. Minnikhanov noted trade and economic cooperation, education, student exchange, tourism, cooperation in innovation and sports.

In turn Irvan Praitno thanked the President of Tatarstan for the warm welcome of the delegation in the republic and expressed his admiration for what he has already seen in Kazan.

Tatarstan President, summing up the meeting, requested to send in West Sumatra response business delegation to examine in detail the possibility of cooperation between the regions.
