Tatarstan President: “The best time to invest in Russia – now”

On February 6 in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a meeting of Talia Minullina and top managers of Mir Holding: Chairman of the Board Ibrahim Mirmahmutoğullari, a member of the Board of Directors Kursad Tuzmen, Director of "Design group" (Dizayn Group) Turhan İlter. TIDA has a long history of interaction with the Turkish company, and currently cooperation is activated.

During the presentation of projects Chairman Ibrahim Mirmahmutoğullari, in particular, said that the organization represents a high-tech range of the Turkish economy, and priority areas are energy, agriculture, pipe production, transport, engineering and medicine. In this case, 6% of the turnover of the commercial structure is directed to the research work, that higher than has the world's largest corporations. The guest also noted a social responsibility of an organization that, in particular, is engaged in projects aimed at fighting against water scarcity and hunger in the poorest countries of the world. Kursad Tuzmen, member of the Board of Directors of the company, a former State Minister of the Republic of Turkey, said the level of Turkish-Tatarstan cooperation is highly appreciated, which is proved by the wide range of successfully implemented joint projects.

TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina said: "Projects in the field of high-tech industry, high quality production is our priorities. Particularly pleased that in this area the interaction takes place with traditional Turkish partners".

The meeting identified two investment projects, including the production of plastic pipes, which on the same day were presented to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Cabinet of Ministers.

Agency formed a work plan for further cooperation with Mir Holding and Design group.
