The delegation includes representatives of major Japanese corporations, headed by the Special Adviser of the Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa.
The purpose of the working visit of businessmen from Japan - the study of the investment potential of Tatarstan in order to further cooperation. The central responsible authority, providing support for the visit, is Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
Within the visit, which will last several days, representatives of the island nation will visit the objects of investment infrastructure - SEZ "Alabuga", Kama Industrial Park "Master", technopolis "Himgrad" and a number of other areas, will hold meetings with the leadership of companies that specialize in engineering, agriculture, oil refining, construction (in particular, JSC "KAMAZ", "NEFIS BIOPRODUCT", “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” JSC).
It is expected that the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will meet the delegation, who earlier in the meeting of TIDA Board, held on February 2015, instructed to intensify work with potential investors from Asia. The active work of the Agency to intensify existing business contacts and establish the new ones holds as part of this assignment of the leader of the republic.
