Tatarstan - is the first in the national ranking of investment climate in the Russian Federation regions

The Republic of Tatarstan took the first rank in the national ranking of investment climate in the Russian Federation regions.

 This was announced during a Panel session on "Presentation of the national ranking of investment climate in the Russian Federation regions", which takes place at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

 The purpose of the ranking is to determine the effectiveness of measures taken at all levels of government to improve the business climate in the region. Rating is not only used for the evaluation of the regional authorities, but also to identify the best practices in the field of investor relations, implementing them in other regions of the Russian Federation.

Pilot testing was held in 2014 in 21 regions of Russia. The rating is formed by Agency of Strategic Initiatives in cooperation with leading business associations.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (a specialized body in the field of investment) Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, taking part in the event, noted that the results sounded natural, as the guarantee of the republic's leadership and open dialogue of investor with the Government, current legislation, socio-economic and political stability, infrastructure, experience in implementation of large investment projects provide the most favorable regime for companies.

"The successful work with investors - is the presidential project of Rustam Minnikhanov. The leader of the Republic personally negotiates with potential investors. State investment policy is really effective; it can be seen in the amount of attracted funds, the number of localized production, the presence of world brands in our territory",- said Taliya Minullina.
