"Shamovsky hotel": reconstruction

On July 1 the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov inspected progress of reconstruction works of cultural heritage "Shamovskoy hospital building" in Kazan.

One of the first investment projects that being accompanied byTatarstan Investment Development Agency since the arrival of Taliya Minullina, is the reconstruction of "Shamovskoy hospital". On behalf of the President of Tatarstan TIDA conducts this work together with the Executive Committee of Kazan.

"The project is interesting. For us it is important not only to preserve historic site, but also to make it function", - said Rustam Minnikhanov during the inspection of the object.

About the details of the investment project told Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina: "To date, the object was bought by the Turkish company "Polytex Group". It was agreed that it would be Rixos Spa Hotel. The volume of investment for this project is 30 million dollar. It is expected that this hotel will offer to the city’s visitors about 60 superior rooms. There are still technical and engineering issues that we solve now. For example, there is need to be an agreement with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the project the project’s deadline - 2018".
