Taliya Minullina takes part in the meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with Head of HAIER

On September 14 newly elected President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Head of Russia's HAIER Lyudmila Romanova. The meeting was held at the House of the Government of Tatarstan, the event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina and others.

During the meeting were discussed the peculiarities of the territories of advancing development in single-industry towns with particularly difficult socio-economic situation. Haier is constructing a plant for the production of refrigerators in Naberezhnye Chelny on the territory of Kama Industrial Park "Master" and is planning to become a resident of the Territory of advancing social and economic development. The project is accompanied by the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

In the meeting were also discussed issues of submitting of Territory’s residents by customs exemptions applied by analogy to the free customs zone in the territories of the special economic zones, as well as the possibility of reducing the customs duties on specific product groups.

Haier Corporation is building plant for the production of refrigeration equipment in Tatarstan (KIP "Master", Naberezhnye Chelny). The total investment is 50 million dollars, the number of jobs - 500 direct, 1.5 thousand - in the outsourcing production.
