We look to the East: Taliya Minullina attends a meeting with the Governor of East Kalimantan province of Indonesia

 On September 17 Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tatarstan Export Corporation Taliya Minullina attended a meeting of the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin with the Governor of East Kalimantan province of Indonesia Awang Farouk Ishak. The event was held in the Hall of the official delegations of the Parliament of Tatarstan. At the meeting discussed the development of relations between the Republic and East Kalimantan in the economy, culture and education and other fields. "We look to the East, and for us it is a strategically important area to interact with Indonesia and regions of the country. It is a country with the largest population of Muslims in the world (246.8 million people), an extensive agro-industrial economy, including the powerful oil sector. The economic cooperation of Tatarstan and Indonesia will continue to grow", - noted Taliya Minullina. Within the visit the delegation of East Kalimantan will visit a number of investment infrastructure objects of the republic, including the Technopark "Idea", KIP "Master", SEZ "Alabuga".   For reference Indonesia - is the agro-industrial country with a developed mining industry. GDP structure is formed by 36% industry, 16.3% - agriculture and fisheries, 10% - construction, electricity, gas and water supply, 6.3% - transport and communications, service sector is about 10.3% of GDP, finance and real estate - 7%, trade, restaurant and hotel business - 13.3%. On April 9th, 2015 in Kazan held the tenth session of the Russian-Indonesian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation.
