Active citizenship will stop corruption

10 March 2016, Thursday

On March 10 Taliya Minullina, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive, participated in the session of the Commission for Countering Corruption chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Commission on coordination of work on countering corruption in republic was formed on the base of Tatarstan Presidential Council in October 2015. Issues of conflict of interest concerning persons who hold state posts in republic are under the supervision of renewed authority.  As it was noted by Tatarstan President at the first session of the Commission at the end of the last year, that provision of execution of decisions of Russian Presidential Council for Countering Corruption and its Presidium was a first-priority issue.  Thus, conclusion is in standardization and establishment of discrete hierarchy in the system of countering corruption over the whole territory of Russia.  Development of the anticorruption rank among regions is expected.

“Today we considered many examples.  The biggest quantity of incidents was identified in the issues connected with land property and construction industry. But each chief should feel responsibility. With active citizenship of each of us is quite capable to reduce the level of corruption in society,” – shared opinion after the session Taliya Minullina.
