Annual meeting of PJSC "KAMAZ" shareholders took place in Naberezhnye Chelny

Talia Minullina took part in the annual meeting of shareholders of PJSC "KAMAZ", which was held in Naberezhnye Chelny under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov 

General director of the State Corporation Rostek Sergei Chemezov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin and other officials also became guests of the meeting, to whom the assembly line for the new engine was presented before the meeting. Release of the first batch is planned in 2017, the launch of serial production - in 2018.

General manager of PJSC KAMAZ Sergey Cogonin presented the invited participants the activity report and put on the agenda 18 questions: approval of the annual report of PJSC KAMAZ, approval of the annual accounting (financial) statements of PJSC KAMAZ and distribution of profits based on the results of the year 2016, questions about the amount, timing and form of payment of dividends for the results of 2016, election of members of the Board of Directors of PJSC KAMAZ and the Audit Committee of PJSC KAMAZ, and other questions 

A perspective model series of electric transport was presented: "Electrobus KAMAZ -6282", with capacity of 85 people and length of 12 m, and "Electrobus KAMAZ-2257", 6 meters long and with capacity of 22 people.

In 2016, more than 34,000 KAMAZ vehicles were sold, while the company's export volume exceeded 6,000 units. Deliveries of cars, assembly kits and spare parts for KAMAZ vehicles were carried out by partners from more than 50 countries (CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America), with whom Republic of Tatarstan investment development agency works closely 

The revenue of PJSC "KAMAZ" for the reporting period exceeded 133 billion rubles, which is 37% more than in 2015. Net profit amounted to 656 million rubles in accordance with IFRS. The shareholders' meeting voted on the decision of the Board of Directors of PJSC KAMAZ, which recommended sending a part of the company's profit in the amount of 297 million rubles to pay dividends on shares of PJSC KAMAZ.

Large-scale projects opened in 2016 remain the priority. These are a joint project with DAIMLER for the construction of a new plant for carcasses for K5 trucks frameworks, the production of P6 engines, and the creation of a family of new booths-2019.

In 2017, the company plans to increase sales of KAMAZ vehicles to 39,000 units of equipment: deliveries in the domestic market should amount to 32,000, for exports - up to 7,000.

Participants of the meeting elected by cumulative vote the composition of the company's management bodies - the Board of Directors and the Audit Commission of PJSC KAMAZ. Final results of voting on all items on the agenda of the annual general meeting of shareholders of PJSC "KAMAZ" will be published in the news line of "Interfax" and in corporate media within the time limits stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking at the general annual meeting of shareholders of PJSC "KAMAZ" in Naberezhnye Chelny, expounded the company's strategic objectives. According to him, one of the important areas is increase in sales of heavy trucks to the CIS countries.

"For us to remain competitive, investments should not stop. The priority task is to complete the construction of the frameworks factory in the following year. Exit to mass production of diesel engines of Euro-5, Euro-6 must be done in 2018. And, another task is the introduction of a fundamentally new model range of KAMAZ vehicles to the market in 2019", - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
