Meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation Alfredo Perez Bravo

Today President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation Alfredo Perez Bravo.  

Issues of foreign-economic activity were discussed during the meeting. Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov took part in the meeting.

Rustam Minnikhanov claimed that the number of common projects between Tatarstan and Mexico is not high enough. He said that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation Alfredo Perez Bravo has done a lot to strengthen and develop mutually beneficial relationship.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, one of the areas of cooperation with Mexico is agro-industrial complex and, in particular, the branch of animal husbandry.

Moreover, Rustam Minnikhanov said that we should exchange of knowledge and experience in the organization of international sports competitions.

Today, many people have convinced that Russia is not only Moscow, but it is a powerful country with a great number of different regions, and Tatarstan, being one of the regions of Russia, has its own economic strategy, said Alfredo Perez Bravo.

The Ambassador informed that businessmen of Mexico are really interested in the establishment of close relationship with Tatarstan entrepreneurs for the future cooperation.

Furthermore, Alfredo Perez Bravo noted the importance of the creation of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA). He also said that they will definitely work with a new Agency.
