Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Met With Deputy Chairman of GC Vnesheconombank Michael Kopeykin

Today there was a meeting between Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov and Deputy Chairman of GC Vnesheconombank Michael Kopeykin. Deputy Chief Executive of TIDA Anton Semenov, head of Business Development Department Alexei Ugarov, head of Investment Projects Support and Assistance Department Maxim Grickih participated in the meeting.

“Particular attention is being paid to the issues of modernization and innovation. But if we do nothing, anything will be changed,”- claimed Mr. Kopeykin, Deputy Chairman of GC VEB.  

“I want to thank officials of the Republic of Tatarstan for paying careful attention to our programs. In my opinion, Tatarstan is the best region of Russia. It is the truth. I always illustrate Tatarstan as an example in different forums.”

Also, Michael Kopeykin shared his opinion on innovative projects. Deputy Chairman said these projects require increased attention. “We should not expect business-plans, payments on the loan, estimate documentation. It may even make sense to do it for free for the authors of such projects”.

Furthermore, issues on cooperation with Vnesheconombank State Corporation, and creation of new tools of small and medium-size entrepreneurship support were discussed in the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency presented the project of Karavaevo Industrial Park with an engineering centre.
