President RT Rustam Minnikhanov Met With Representatives of Small and Middle-Size Business of Tatarstan Republic
Today there was a meeting of President RT Rustam Minnikhanov with representatives of small and middle-size entrepreneurship of the Republic in the conference hall of Bank Tatarstan. Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov participated in the event.
The meeting was organized as the part of 170th establishment anniversary celebration of Sberbank of Russia. The event was opened by vice-president of Sberbank of Russia, president of Opora RUSSIA Sergey Borisov.
At the beginning of the meeting, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov greeted the participants of the event. Also, President RT said that he had a meeting with Deputy Chairman of Sberbank of Russia Andrey Donskikh, which was held in the House of RT Government. RT Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Chairman of Volga-Vyatka bank of Sberbank of Russia Irina Kudryavtseva, CEO of the branch Sberbank Tatarstan Rushan Sakhbiev participated in the meeting. Rustam Minikhanov and Andrey Donskikh have discussed current cooperation between Tatarstan and Sberbank and development of the bank’s regional network in the Republic.
He said that Tatarstan Republic is aware of small and middle-size entrepreneurship development importance.
“In order to create a middle class, we need educated and ambitious people, and financial resources. We have everything which is necessary for forming of middle-class people,” – said Mr. Minnikhanov. In his opinion, Sberbank of Russia can assist in this process, giving loans to the subjects of small and medium-size business, and developing particular projects.
Furthermore, some of Tatarstan small and middle-size entrepreneurship companies were awarded with diplomas by Deputy Chairman of Sberbank of Russia Andrey Donskikh.
Also, Chairman of Volga-Vyatka bank of Sberbank of Russia Irina Kudryavtseva talked about the bank activities dedicated to the support of small and middle-size entrepreneurship.
At the end of the meeting the guests of the meeting and representatives of small and middle-size entrepreneurship were able to give questions to President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. In particular, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was asked about the trip to Singapore. Minnikhanov said that Singapore should be an example for Tatarstan on education, corruption combat, infrastructure development, and many other issues.
"You should see it yourself. Everything that is done in Singapore, can be realized in Tatarstan ,”- said President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the framework of the conference, Rustam Minnikhanov also participated in a roundtable with representatives of big business.
