Meeting on Cooperation of Small and Middle-size Entrepreneurship With Large Enterprises of Tatarstan Republic

There was a meeting on cooperation of small and middle-size entrepreneurship with large enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. Meeting was held by Deputy Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Liana Saetova. Large enterprises were presented by such companies as Tatneft, Kamaz and other large companies.

At the beginning of the meeting Deputy Director of Kamaz Development Ildar Gilfanov said that there are 126 companies providing outsourcing services.

Head of New Structures Department of Tatneft Rimaz Yamilov claimed that at the beginning of 2000 Tatneft excluded all farms and nurseries. Now there are only 30 thousand people working there (instead of 70 thousand).

In the future, Tatneft is planning to allocate grants in the amount of one million rubles annually for the development of small and middle-size entrepreneurship in the sphere of oil production components and spare parts producing, petrochemical raw materials refining, associated petroleum gas utilizing. Thus, it is planned to raise business development fund of JSC Tatneft up to 30 million rubles.

Also, representatives of small entrepreneurship shared their experiences with other participants of the meeting. Elmira Romanova, Director of Diamond cleaning company told about her “success story”. Rustem Mukhametshin, Director of Nevod Information Technology Center (Audeks Group of Companies) shared his experience on cooperation with Kazan Helicopter Plant.

Deputy Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Anton Semenov emphasized the lack of qualified personnel. Moreover, he suggested using a well-organized Soviet system of training.
