Tatarstan and South Korea form a construction tandem
Vice-President of the Korean construction company «SK Engineering & Construction» Seung-Ho Lee and Chief Adviser in Russia and CIS countries on multi-field construction holdings involved in implementation of large investment projects in the sphere of transport infrastructure, energy, public and industrial construction of «IC İçtaş İnşaat» company Ilya Kutidze visited the capital of Tatarstan to strengthen cooperation.
First of all, in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the leading specialists acquainted the guests with the investment potential of the region, which is already appreciated by the Korean investors. Thus, at the end of 2018 in Almetyevsk, which is famous for oil refinery industry, the opening of the first stage of the valves production plant of the Korean company «Apollo».
«Tatarstan is interested in expansion of cooperation with the South Korea and is ready to provide full support to increase trade, implement joint projects and establish new productions on the territory of the republic. We have already got successful experience of cooperation in the fields of oil refining, petrochemical industries, medicine, which confirms strong relations of countries and regions and allows us to build effective communication for the development of new perspectives», - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency shared.
SK E&C provides comprehensive construction services for power stations, is involved in construction of roads, railways, ports, underground spaces, residential complexes, as well as water supply and environmental protection facilities in South Korea and abroad. SK Group is also South Korea's largest provider of wireless mobile services.
Building of the Tatarstan-Korean relations continued in the House of the Government of the republic at the meeting with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, as well as heads of ministries and departments.
