Tatarstan-Shandong: new dimensions of partnership

A business-forum “Tatarstan-Shandong” took place in Kazan which became a culminating event within the frames of the visit to Tatarstan of the government delegation and representatives of business circles from the Chinese province Shandong directed by Mr. Khan Dzinfena, vice chairman of the Shandong provincial committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in China.

Mr.Khan Dzinfen has noted in his speech of welcome that Tatarstan is a strategic partner of China, has appreciated a platform organized to develop Tatar -Chinese relations and pointed out its significance in a country-level cooperation strengthening.

“This year of 70th anniversary of relations between our countries is celebrated. Sales turnover of the Republic of Tatarstan and People's Republic of China went up last year by 10 per cent and amounted to 630 million US dollars. Of course, these are not the numbers which reflect the possibilities of our firm friendship. It is necessary to step up efforts in this direction,” mentioned in her speech Taliya Minullina, the Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
