The Republic of Tatarstan and the Leningrad Region: On the highway to new projects

Taliya Minullina, the Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, paid a working visit to the Leningrad Region. Negotiations were held with Renat Valiullin, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, and the top management of the large innovative companies on the prospects for opening a sterilization center in Tatarstan and creating biogas complexes at the republic’s companies. The head of TIDA also met with the well-known modern artists for the possible implementation of new investment projects based on the cross-cultural interaction, and spoke at the Urban Space 2019 conference. Urban Space is an annual business meeting of real estate market leaders.

The forum reviewed the experience of Tatarstan to identify promising formats for the industry development. In Tatarstan, during the period from 2015 to 2018, 328 facilities have been equipped with services and utilities at the amount of 8 billion 609 million rubles. As for the construction of residential buildings, the region has been in the top ten for 10 years. One of the key partners of Tatarstan, including in construction, is Turkey. This year the 5-star Kazan Palace Hotel by Tasigo has been opened. Kastamonu Integre, the Turkish company, has also become an investor of Sunrise City, the unique residential complex in Naberezhnye Chelny. The complex consists of a wellness and entertainment center, multi-storey houses with built-in non-residential premises, underground parking and shopping pavilions. YIT, the Finnish company, builds residential houses and high-quality facilities in Tatarstan using the most modern technologies. An agreement of intent was signed with Ida Sangyo Rus, the Japanese company, for the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a low-rise residential complex for 180 houses using the unique Japan Wood Technologies.
