Tatarstan Investment Development Agency takes part in the Moscow-Vienna forum

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov took part in the Moscow-Vienna Forum of Economic and Technological Cooperation "Austrian advanced technology for megalopolis", which was held yesterday in Moscow.

Moscow-Vienna Forum of Economic and Technological Cooperation was held in conjunction with the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations. At the opening ceremony were the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin and Mayor of Vienna Michael Häupl.

During the forum roundtable discussions with representatives of the Government of Moscow departments, the Moscow and Russian companies and organizations were held. Main themes of discussion were: transport, transport infrastructure; waste and wastewater, water treatment, energy efficiency, energy-efficient planning and construction. Participants also discussed the health care industry and the "City without barriers" project.

In the second half of the day at the forum were presented the investment potential of the Tatarstan and the new investment platform of the republic - the "Smart City Kazan" project.
