Tatarstan Investment Development Agency takes part in the Universiade Torch Relay in Orenburg

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov greeted the people of Orenburg on behalf of the Tatarstan Republic Government.

"Orenburg – is a city of students, a city that is in constant development", - said TIDA Chief Executive.

"Torch of Universiade is going around the world and it is glad to know that today he visited Orenburg. Torch of Universiade attracts more and more young people to the sport. I congratulate you with this great sport event!" Linar Yakupov also presented memorable torch relays of Universiade to the leadership of city.

Note that yesterday Orenburg hosted the Universiade Torch Relay. 120 torchbearers carried the fire in the streets of the city at a distance of 32 thousand meters. Torch relay started from the square in front of the House of Culture "Express", where the first torch was lit. Honorable right to carry the first main symbol of the Universiade was given to the head of administration of Orenburg city Eugeniy Arapov.

Route of Relay passed through the streets and squares, universities, children's sports school and ended in the square near the Museum of the city's history in Orenburg. Note that the Orenburg became the twenty-ninth city of the Universiade Torch Relay in Russia. The next city of the Russian stage Torch Relay will be the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Ufa, which will take the main symbol of the Universiade on June 18.
