"Smart City Kazan" project is presented to the Kuwaiti delegation

Meeting with a foreign delegation from Kuwait was held in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov.

During the meeting, to the foreign guests a video of a new investment platform of Tatarstan were shown and were made a presentation of the "Smart City Kazan" project, presenting the main clusters of the platform and stages of its implementation.

Delegates of Kuwait in reply told about their unique project - Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City - the city on the Gulf coast in 85 kilometers south from Kuwait.

The main feature of the project - its proximity to the water, which is an important element of life in Kuwait and which largely determines the technologies that are used in this project. Construction of the city began in 2002 and is scheduled to be completed in 10 stages over 25 years. According to the forecasts of developers there will live about 100 thousand people.
