Malaysia's Foreign Trade Development Corporation announce its participation in the Euro-Asia Expo 2013
Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting between TIDA, Tatarstan Export Corporation and MATRADE (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation).
The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, TIDA Deputy Insaf Galiev, Tatarstan Export Corporation main specialist Maxim Vinokurov, Trade counsellor MATRADE Hairul Nizam Munier and his assistant Hafiz Shariff.
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov told to the MATRADE representatives about visit of the delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in Malaysia in January 2013 and recalled the progress made during the visit arrangements.
Particularly, Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia Dato Seri Mustapa bin Mohamed expressed interest in further joint work and the organization of the Tatarstan Republic Ministry delegation visit.
Linar Yakupov also introduced guests with the Tatarstan Export Corporation’s work and spoke about the cooperation of the Republic of Tatarstan and Malaysia on a number of directions. As the TIDA Chief Executive noted, there are several Malaysian companies on this territory, joint activity connects the universities of Tatarstan and Malaysia. Linar Yakupov also said that the Malaysian consortium of AJM Planning & Urban Design Group, Straits Consulting Engineers, Amanah Capital Group Limited (ACGL) performed as a developer of the master plan of "Smart City Kazan" project.
During the meeting participants also discussed the possibility of cooperation in several fields and the holding in Kazan Euro-Asia Expo 2013. Commercial Counsellor of MATRADE Hyrule Nizam Munier said that they are interested in participating in this event. He added that in the Euro-Asia Expo 2013 will be representatives of the service industry of Malaysia. It was noted that this delegation will be the first Malaysian delegation in Russia on the service industry field.
