Tatarstan Investment Development Agency meets with representatives of China Telecom and Jason Partners Consulting

The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov, Head of supporting and monitoring of investment projects department Arthur Nigmatulin, Tatarstan TIDA Head of attracting investment department Wyatt Ford, President of China Telecom in Russia Liang Liang. From Jason Partners Consulting company the meeting  was attended by Project Manager Yuri Ishmaev, Executive Director Sergey Shavkunov, Acting CEO Eugeni  Pligin and Commercial Director of the Russian representation Alexander Tsiganov.

For the representatives of China Telecom and Jason Partners Consulting has been given a presentation of the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, updated with information about the advantageous location of the republic and its proximity to the territory of the other regions.

During the meeting, Project Manager Jason Partners Consulting Yuri Ishmaev said that with the assistance of China Telecom have been implemented several projects in a number of "smart" cities of China.

Head of attracting investment department Wyatt Ford presented the "Smart City Kazan" project. Talking about the four main clusters of the project, Wyatt Ford also mentioned that 46% of tourism in the Tatarstan Republic  is the business tourism.

During the presentation, Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov  claimed that near with "Smart City Kazan" an airport, which opened a new terminal, is located and also operates permanent intermodal service between  railway station and the airport. “Aeroexpress station stop located on the territory of the "Smart City Kazan", - noticed Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive.

"Experience of China Telecom in building «smart» cities is unique," - claimed Commercial Director of the Russian representation Alexander Tsiganov during the meeting. – “The company offers a range of services from the sensors in a traffic lights to creating a cloud computing”.

China has in process of building six typical examples of such smart cities, one of them is Jungar», - added President of China Telecom in Russia Liang Liang. –“The city will focus on the extraction of coal and oil, where we offer services in the security, transport, health fields”.

During the meeting an agreement to develop specific proposals and details of cooperation with China Telecom has been reached.
