Schneider Electric announce its readiness to participate in the development of technical specifications for the "Smart City Kazan"

Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting of TIDA Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov and representatives of the French company Schneider Electric.

They discussed the development of a partnership with Schneider Electric in participation the implementation of a new investment platform of the Republic of Tatarstan - "Smart City Kazan". In particular, the company has expressed its willingness to provide a number of high-tech services to create the concept of a unified monitoring and management of engineering networks and constructions "Smart City Kazan”, the concept of power of the "Smart Grid". Schneider Electric is also ready to develop a catalog of requirements for buildings and structures of smart homes in the investment platform and their integration into a "Smart City Kazan" single management system.

During today's meeting representatives of Schneider Electric noted their interest in expanding the sphere of influence of their company on the Tatarstan Republic territory, the participation in the "Smart City Kazan" project and invited the heads of TIDA Linar Yakupov to visit their production platform, located in close proximity to the project.

"Our technical support will be provided not only at the initial design phase of the project," - added representatives of Schneider Electric. - "We are ready to support it in all stages of development".
Finally, the parties agreed to meet again, in the course of which will be presented specific areas of collaboration.
