Meeting on the implementation of an investment projects monitoring system

Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting on the implementation of an investment projects monitoring system – iPMS – in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the Tatarstan Development Corporation and the Malaysian company XYBASE.

During the meeting Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov noted the importance of the implementation of this system in the territory of the republic and the importance of iPMS under the new investment platform of Tatarstan - Kazan Smart City. Linar Yakupov also said that in the near future will start a work on implementation of iPMS in investment areas of Tatarstan: industrial parks, industrial and special economic zones.

Should recall that in January 2013 during the Tatarstan delegation’s official visit to Malaysia was a meeting  between President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of XYBASE Suhaymi Abu Hassan, during which the system of electronic  support of business processes BLESS, developed by XYBASE, has been presented. The system BLESS (Business Licensing Electronic Support System), based on the principle of "one window", has proven its worth in interaction of business and government agencies and in the formation of a favorable investment climate in Malaysia. Based on the successful experience of Malaysia in the using of this system, the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan made a decision to implement the BLESS system in Tatarstan.

In February the Malaysian company XYBASE arrived in the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit, during which the system of electronic support of business processes BLESS at the area of the Kazan IT-Park were presented in the meeting with the deputy heads of ministries and departments responsible for investment activity in the supervised area. Representatives of XYBASE also met with the President Rustam Minnikhanov, who noted the interest of the development of XYBASE in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In February 25 on a final board of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, which was held in the framework of Kama invest forum 2013, XYBASE CEO Suhaymi Abu Hassan presented to the participants of a forum a plan on implementation of the BLESS system’s part in the republic – iPMS. He also expressed a confidence that implementation of this electronic system will significantly reduce and make easier the process of receiving permitted documentation, also it will give an opportunity for monitoring  and supporting invest projects on all stages of their realization.
