Employees of theTatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA), Tatarstan Development Corporation (TDC), and Tatarstan Export Corporation (TEC) celebrated Eid al-Fitr in the township of Baltasi yesterday.
The festival dedicated to Eit al-Fitr, the end of the holy month of Ramadan, was held for the second time in Baltasi. Festivities included a concert program, games, and celebration of the end of fasting in front of the Baltach Halal Industrial Park. Guestswere treated to hot pancakes, kebabs and tea.
Charity festival, dedicated to Eid al-Fitr, in the Baltasi township held for the second time.Last year thanks to initiative of local entrepreneurs, festive celebration in honor of the holy month of Ramadan, was greatly celebrated. It was decided to make this holiday as an annual celebration and invite guests from all parts of the republic. As the main celebration treat in honor of the end of the holymonth of Ramadan was a pilaf, which was prepared at once in five big caldrons placed in the field.
The event, whichlasted several hours, was attended by more than 1,000 guests, who came not only from Baltasi region and Kazan, but also from all of Tatarstan regions, as well as the neighboring republics. The holiday was also visited by the guest from Slovakia, who arrived in Baltasi, accompanied by representatives of the Tatarstan Export Corporation, the Head of the Baltasi administration Ramil Nutfullin, Director of the Baltach Halal Industrial Park Ilnaz Yakupov, and executive director of the National Association of Halal industry Irshat Yunusov.
TIDA Chief Executive Linar Yakupov congratulated the participants of the festival on the end of the holy month of Ramadan, said that the family celebration in Baltasi every year increasing and attracts more and more visitors.
"I am glad to welcome you here and grateful for the interest you show for this holiday," said Linar Yakupov.
Competitions were held for children and their familites. The TIDA staff and children drew on the asphalt in front of Baltach Halal Industrial Park. In a few minutes the asphalt was full of blue, green, pink, white and yellow colors. The girls painted mosques, clouds, flowers, sun. The boys decorated the asphalt with ships and cars. Parents helped them with drawings. The awards for the creative competition were school supplies, sweets and toys.
TDC held a team competition of drawings with markers on large sheets of drawing paper and checked the children's ingenuity and speed in the competition of collecting the longest chain of paper clips. Gifts were sweet prizes and souvenirs.
