Discuss the issues of foreign capital participation in investment projects of Tatarstan

In Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was a meeting on attracting foreign direct investments in the Republic of Tatarstan. This meeting was attended by representatives of ministries and departments as well as municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Participants discussed foreign capital participation in investment projects, implemented on the territory of Tatarstan. Welcoming the participants of the meeting, TIDA Chief Executive Linar Yakupov noted, that The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most attractive regions for foreign investors, and in this case all the ministries and departments as well as municipalities should be more actively involved in the providing information, needed for the implementation of investment projects.

 Now is developing an electronic system of maintenance investment projects in the Republic of Tatarstan. It will allow following the stages of investment projects developing.

TIDA Chief Executive drew attention to the fact that the meeting was attended by only a small part of representatives of the ministries, departments and municipalities, responsible for the activity in the investment field. The list of persons responsible for this area, was formed on the basis of the first meeting of the Investment Council under the chairmanship of the Republic of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

During the meeting there have been some proposals, which will meet with demand for goods and services in the Republic of Tatarstan and attract foreign direct investment.

First Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan Insaf Hayrullin noted that on September 13-14 in Kazan will be the International Transport and Logistics Forum "Creation and development of an integrated international transport and logistics system: Prospects and Realities", organized by the Russian Ministry of Transport and The Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The forum will include a presentation of the pilot project of the Federal Target Program "Development of transport system of Russia (2010-2015)" "Sviyazhsk multimodal logistics center."

Also during the meeting, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov

underscored the need of paying attention to the development of medical and agricultural sectors of the republic, therefore should be made a detailed analysis of the capabilities of each region of the republic.
In conclusion Linar Yakupov thanked everyone for attending the meeting and announced that they need to hold such meetings every month.
