The next meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding JSC was chaired today by Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, a number of innovative projects were considered.
New geochemical methods for deteriorating oil reserves were the topic of a speech by Vladislav Sudakov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Technologies of the Kazan Federal University (KFU). KFU scientists study the properties of reservoir fluids, geological processes, and also manage the development of oil and gas fields.
Thus, scientists are developing cost-effective methods for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in difficult fields. And Tatneft, Gazprom Neft and Rosneft are testing artificial intelligence technologies to search for missed oil deposits.
“A geochemical consortium is being created on the basis of KFU,” said Vladislav Sudakov. “It will be possible to bring new technologies to the Russian and foreign markets.”
Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that a lot of work is being done in the republic to form the Higher School of Oil in Almetyevsk, and recommended combining the scientific potential of the TatNIPIneft Institute and KFU.
Bulat Baimetov, head of the Krezol Group of Companies (Ufa), made a report on import substitution of the hydraulic fracturing (fracturing) fleet. According to him, the pumping unit being produced can be fully equipped with Russian parts.
Valery Reshetnyak, one of the founders of the Yatagan/SET Engineering group of companies (Moscow), spoke about universal air purification systems. Modular gas converter units can be used in various industries - from petrochemicals and wastewater treatment plants to agriculture and catering. The installation of equipment for the Moscow metro is being studied.
Domestic controllers for collecting sensor readings were presented by the founder of the Krasnodar company IT-Intego, Marina Korenkova. The equipment, in particular, makes it possible to reduce downtime of oil and gas equipment due to early detection of faults.
“Equipment installation and maintenance are available to any ordinary engineer and system administrator,” Korenkova said. - No need for mobile teams. Managed remotely from anywhere in the world.”
Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko announced preparations for the Tatarstan Petroleum and Gas Chemical Forum and the international exhibition "TatOilExpo-2023". He recalled that the forum will be held this year from August 31 to September 2 on the territory of the Kazan Expo IEC. According to Oleg Korobchenko, there are prerequisites for making the event federal.
The Tatarstan Petroleum and Gas Chemical Forum 2023 will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of industrial oil production in the republic. The central events of the forum are expected to be the plenary session “Prospects for the development of oil and gas companies in Russia in modern conditions.”
