Investment digest of the Republic of Tatarstan: "investment hour" with the Nizhnekamsk region
The Nizhnekamsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development in the framework of the republican meeting chaired by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Such meetings are held on a weekly basis in the House of the Government of the Republic. The report of the head of the district examines the main indicators of the district, the development of industries, the state of entrepreneurship, the level of wages and unemployment, the pace of construction of social infrastructure and housing, education, and achievements in various fields.
The head of the Nizhnekamsk region, the Mayor of the city of Nizhnekamsk Ramil Mullin said that the main indicator of the region's activity is the value of the gross territorial product. The region’s GTP for 2022 amounted to 388 billion rubles, which was 115% compared to last year. The forecast for 2023 is 397 billion rubles.
According to Ramil Mullin, the priority areas in the work of the district are investment in human capital, improving the investment climate and creating comfortable living conditions.
Nizhnekamsk continues to hold leading positions in terms of investment in fixed assets. At the end of 2022, the volume of investments amounted to 132 billion rubles, the forecast for the current year is 136 billion rubles.
The implementation of a number of significant large investment projects continues in the district, such as:
— Complex for the production of olefins PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" - Sibur.
— Increasing the production of all-steel steel tires to 2.8 million units per year.
— Organization of the production of large-size tires and the production of bicycle tires.
— Development and expansion of production facilities of the TANECO Complex.
— Processing of petroleum products at TAIF-NK.
Further development of the petrochemical cluster, as well as diversification of the economy, is associated with the Alabuga Ethylene 600 industrial park, which will be formed by medium and small enterprises that manufacture high-tech products based on raw materials produced by our large companies.
Entrepreneurs, including residents of Nizhnekamsk TASED, place their production facilities on the territories of industrial and industrial parks. There are 6 similar sites in Nizhnekamsk region.
The locomotive in this direction is the Nizhnekamsk municipal park, where, within the framework of the 1st and 2nd stages of development, 16 resident companies representing different industries were attracted. 7 enterprises have already launched their production.
At the recent Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the project "Creation of the III stage of the Nizhnekamsk Industrial Park in the territory of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan" was considered. At the moment, 10 companies have already applied for the location of their production facilities on the territory of the 3rd stage of the industrial park.
An example of a successful investment project is the health-improving complex Nizhnekamsk Termy. Now the investor is considering the further development of the project - this is the construction of a hotel complex and the provision of services in the field of medicine.
