Kastamonu Entegre to be investor in the construction of a residential district in Naberezhnye Chelny

The project, first phase of which values 3.7 billion rubles, was presented at the Tatarstan-Turkish business forum.

Today in "Korston" with the presence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey Zafer Çağlayan opened Tatarstan-Turkish business forum. The forum was attended by about 100 Turkish and 200 Tatarstan companies.

As Rustam Minnikhanov underscored, holding in Kazan meetings with the business community in Turkey has become a good tradition and demonstrates good relations between Tatarstan and Turkey. Tatarstan President also stressed that Turkey - one of the leading economic partners of the republic. The volume of trade between two republics in the past year amounted to 930 million dollars, the amount claimed by Turkey investment in Tatarstan - more than $ 1.5 billion. Turkey also leads in the number of joint ventures with Tatarstan – in the territory of Tatarstan registered 278 such companies. The largest Turkey companies are residents of the SEZ "Alabuga".

Zafer Çağlayan noted, that in cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkey an important role plays the President of Tatarstan and the Prime Minister of Turkey.

Cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkey also was noted by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov. He told about the investment potential of the republic and introduced a new investment platform of Tatarstan - Kazan Smart City project. TIDA Chief Executive also said that on October 1, as part of the V International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013) will be the groundbreaking ceremony in the construction of Kazan Smart City.

In the presence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey Zafer Çağlayan two documents were signed. The first is about the cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Turkey Exporters Assembly. The second is a three-party protocol between the administration of the municipality Naberezhny Chelny, the "Eurogroup" companies and "Compass Engineering" to build a multifunctional residential complex.

Residential district construction project in Naberezhnye Chelny is intended to implement in three stages. In the first phase, the value of which is equal to 3.7 billion rubles, planned to build two 25-storey and two 18-storey residential buildings.

Investor of the project - Kastamonu Entegre Company - currently is building a plant for the production of MDF panels in the SEZ "Alabuga". "Eurogroup" company also will construct a number of retail and office centers of «B» and «B +» classes.
