Tatarstan Development Corporation and an international company Tatarstan Gulf Investment Company (TGIC) today signed an agreement on preparation of investment analysis of individual sites in Kazan Smart City.
Cooperation agreement with the presence of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov signed Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov and TGIC director Rachid Karmastadzhi.
April 30, current year at the III Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Dubai in the presence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, was signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Kazan Smart City project. It was signed between Tatarstan Development Corporation and TGIC (Tatarstan Gulf Investment Company). Tatarstan Gulf Investment Company, which is founded by a group of investment companies of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, established in 2013 for bringing an another investment companies of the Middle East to the project.
TGIC started an investment analysis of individual sites of Kazan Smart City. It will be carried out by international consultants. The main object of pre-analysis will be the International Exhibition Center. It is planned that on this subject will work a team of international consultants. Persian Gulf investors in partnership with Russian banks will be the funders of this work. For managing expo center will be involved one of the leading European companies in the field of exhibition activities.
International Exhibition Centre will be located on the territory of Kazan Smart City near the aeroexpress station stop and will be one of the first points of growth of the project. 46,000 square meters area of this object will be built in the public and business center of Kazan Smart City, where is also plans to build a transit hotel, a regional shopping mall, business center, modern transit terminal.
Groundbreaking ceremony of Kazan Smart City will be held in October 1 - on the eve of the V International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013).
